First Sketches for Rosa's Farming Goods

Rough Logo

I have started working on some of the elements of the new image I am working on for Rosa's Farming Goods. I want a look that is home made but modern looking. Something fun that doesn't take it's personality to serious just like Rosa and Evelyn. Above I have a first round turn out of a potential identity mark.

Sketches

I would like to keep sketching and see where the inspiration I have gotten from the personality of this stand has given me.

Made to Stick

Made to stick is a book that is all about communication and how to really get a idea or message to stick with someone. One idea that the book goes into depth about is the success model.

The Success Model is made of 6 elements that I would like to use in my design process for Rosa's Faming Goods.

Simple - The design will be clean and simple. A play on Rosa's name would be simple and cute.

Unexpected - This element will mostly be put into play by Rosa. He outgoing funny personality will add a unexpected element that will grab peoples attention and keep her and her stand stuck in peoples minds.

Concrete - Concrete is about providing a story that gives you a credible element to trust. The simple design will have a home love look and paired with Rosa's knowledge and stories the stand will be steady as cement.

Credible - For Rosa's case the elements that will make her concrete will also make her credible.

Emotional - The design I will be making for Rosa and her sister will make a home made caring feeling in people. I want it to resemble home made labels, home canning labels, or embroidery. The home feeling of the design will help put that emotional element that you get just from talking to Evelyn and Rosa.

Stories - This is another element that Rosa has covered. The image I am making for the stand will compliment her stories but Rosa will be the one to paint the picture.

All of these elements should lead to a successful business image.

Rosa and Evelyn of Rosa's Farming Goods

17th street farmers market is a place full of events, art, and a few fresh produce stands. Rosa's Farming Goods' stand is full of fresh beautiful family grown produce surrounded by signs made by hand with materials that are available. I would like to propose a cost effective design for their business that will reflect their unique personalities.

Rosa is a talkative energetic person that takes pride in what she does and wants to share he passion with everyone. Countless times I heard Rosa say that she loved her stand and had so much fun working to keep it full of love and home grown foods, while he sister Evelyn who was quieter would smile and nod her head in agreement.

In order to help them and bring more people over to their stand to see the amazing food and personality Rosa's Farming Goods has to offer I would like to create something that has a home love look to it.
